Appalling customer service

Appalling customer service. 10 separate repair visits to confirm refrigerator cannot be fixed. Not a customer centric organization whatsoever. We have been without a refrigerator for 3 months.

Worst Customer Service!!!!!

This company has the worst customer service. I have called three times and have been disconnected each time. I am now on hold waiting to talk to someone. I have been on hold forever and still have not talked to anyone!!! Don't purchase any of their products. If you have a problem, you will never get through to talk to anyone!!!!

Whirlpool junk

Bought a $800.00 wash machine on May 17, 2020. The thing is making a loud screeching at start up. Contacted Whirlpool, they said it's covered but there is no one around my area to fix it. Bought it 18 miles from my house. Told me that I could find someone, and they would reimburse me $150.00. The repair people would have to order parts from Whirlpool. Needless to say, I found a company that said, they would fix the washer at no expense to me, and bill Whirlpool directly. I will never buy Whirlpool again. Horrible customer service.

We purchased a refrigerator for over…

We purchased a refrigerator for over $3,000 two years ago and the compressor already went out. It is a sealed compressor so it cant be repaired. The entire compressor needs to be replaced. If this isnt bad enough it will take 3 weeks for a new compressor to come in so we are without a refrigerator for another 3 weeks during an already very stressful time! I would never purchase this brand of refrigerator again!

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. I purchased a washing machine on October 5 2020. The only reason I even purchased a new one is because my 2 year old LG needed repair but I could not wait 8 weeks for a service technician. I purchase the machine and 2 weeks later it started making an awful screeching noise. It also would not shut off. I have been trying for 3 months to get my machine repaired. They finally sent me an email saying that they would ONLY cover $150 and I was responsible for finding my own technician. I do not live near a laundry mat, and cannot wait 8 weeks to get it repaired. What the devil am I supposed to do without a machine. DO NOT PURCHASE A WHIRLPOOL!!!!!

Extremely dissatisfied

Extremely dissatisfied with the quality of Whirlpool products (Whirlpool Canada). We bought a dishwasher, which engine was replaced after a month or so (luckily under warranty), then a fridge which had a gas leak after a bit more than one year and could not be repaired, now an electric range which oven caught fire. Very bad

I specifically paid over 800$ Bucks for Whirlpool. I spend an hour and a half on the phone to Whirlpool who won't help at all DO NOT BUY WHIRLPOOL EVER!!!!!A scam! Don’t waste your time or money

Whirlpool Phone support is worse than horrible

I purchased an oven 6/29/2020 at Lowe's. The oven stopped working on 1/16/2021. I spent hours on hold trying to get someone to talk with me. When I did (Nathan from Tennessee), they took my information and escalated me to the safety department because wires on the terminal block were burnt. After 45 minutes on the phone waiting for safety, I started chatting with the online chat bot. Finally, after 20 minutes of chatting with the virtual assistant, while I was on hold with safety, a real person (Stephanie from Tennessee) started helping me instead of the virtual assistant. I hung up on safety. She tried to find my info from the previous call (with Nathan) and no one had documented my problem. She documented the problem and got me a reference number. She called me on my cell phone and then connected me to safety. After 45 minutes on hold again, I spoke with a person (Lisa in Safety) and we were able to schedule a service person. I hope the oven can be fixed or replaced. I'm so frustrated.
The repair person came out two days later and determined that it was definitely a manufacturer defect. They plan to order the wiring harness and remove only the wires they need and splice them back into the original harness. I think that they should replace the whole wiring harness. It's been ten days and we still haven't heard back from the repairman. Meanwhile, we bought an instant pot so that we could cook a decent meal.
After waiting for parts a month, Whirlpool offered us a chance for a full refund or a replacement oven. Of course, we went with the full refund.

I recently purchased 2 Whirlpool…

I recently purchased 2 Whirlpool dishwashers for a renovation project.
Both dishwashers leaked (leak isnt the right word, they poured like a faucets and almost destroyed my floor) so I asked for a service, which its under the warrently.
They didnt show up nor leave me a message on the scheduled date (24th Dec, 2020). I had to call to follow up, which took 1.5 hours for someone to finally answering my call.
Since my procession date is Dec 30th, I requested Whirlpool to send me an email just so that I can show my buyer this issue is taken care of by Whirlpool, which they refused to send me any documentation or email that they will look after the dishwashers, when I request to speak to supervisor, they hung up on me.
My advise is not to use Whirlpool appliances' warranty, for similar pricing there are many other choices.

Would not trust a Whirlpool warranty

A microwave that on which we had a warranty to repair or replace failed... called to get it repaired and was told they don't repair them. Then asked what my options were and was told I could get it replaced but that had a fee even though the warranty did not imply that and the fee was larger than the cost. Trust is not great.

Repulsive service from Whirlpool/KitchenAid

Delivery of the KitchenAid exhaust fan never showed up after waiting for 5 hours. It was an unit costs almost $2K, so I was concerned. I called and spoke to agent Amxxxa. She offered no help to resolve the situation. When I finally told her I just want to cancel the order, she claims my credit card was never charged as Whirlpool only charges upon delivery - which is not true because I was looking at my statement as I wanted to make sure statements I made were correct. She then further pushed to put the reason for my cancellation as ‘Buyer missed the delivery, so requested cancellation’, to which I repeatedly corrected her that I did not miss the delivery; it's the delivery that never arrived. Then she said she will cancel and told me to expect an email. I was very skeptical so I asked for a reference number of this case/cancellation, which she said there is none. I asked to speak to her manager and she just kept talking over me non-stop until I finally raised my voice. Then she told me to calm down and wrote in the system that SHE was dealing with a customer who raised voice to her without explaining anything she had done prior to that (this was information shared with me when I finally called another service person to get some clarity on my order)!!! She then put my on a loop of elevator music and never connected me. This person and her behavior is beyond repulsive! She does not deserve to hold any job until she adjusts her attitude towards another person.
